A playful reimagining of the first floor of an iconic neighbourhood pub.

Once a dark and under-utilised space, it was transformed using unexpected paint colour pairings and an eclectic mix of upholstery patterns to create a lively, welcoming, and upbeat atmosphere.

A bespoke DJ booth was crafted by local makers Rosato Projects, while a hand-illustrated rice paper lampshade by artist Dave Faint adds a warm glow at the entry staircase. Sculptural pieces and artwork were sourced from contemporary artists like Stephanie Phillips and michael McIntyre, thoughtfully layered with vintage finds to evoke the cosy, collected feel of a classic UK pub — with a twist.
